The Lodge

Loch Assynt Lodge commands an enviable view across the north shores of Loch Assynt one of Scotland's ultimate trout lochs. The lodge is surrounded by the most beautiful alpine garden and woodlands.

Originally built in 1870, the house is in immaculate condition and harbours an astonishing feature of charcoal wall sketches depicting early fishing and stalking scenes from the estate.

Several contemporary art pieces enliven the interior of the lodge, and in the grounds we have a stunning sculpture of two stags by Cemmick and Wylder external link called "The Rut".

Within the lodge there is a stunning drawing room and a large dining room comfortably seating up to 14 guests - both with superb views of the Loch. There is also a large kitchen with Aga and gas cooker, a study and games room.

Upstairs there are eight large bedrooms and three bathrooms furnished to the highest standard. The rooms comprise of five doubles, two twins and a four berth bunk bed.

We can provide a cook or housekeeper to assist with your stay.
